Technical Documentation: Giftindex ODROB Protocol
1. Protocol Overview
ODROB (Oracle-Determined Range Order Book) - a decentralized protocol for trading index tokens in the TON ecosystem, utilizing a dynamic price corridor determined by an oracle.
1.1 Key Advantages
- Volatility Protection: trading only within ±3% of the index's calculated price
- Market Stability: orders outside the corridor are not executed
- Cashback Tokenomics: 10% fee compensated with index tokens
- Derivatives Trading: ability to create synthetic assets based on market metrics
Index Examples: [To be filled with specific index examples]
2. How It Works
2.1 Dynamic Price Corridor
- Base Asset: index token calculated by the oracle
- Trading Range: ±3% of current index price
- Corridor Updates: with each oracle index recalculation
- Orders Outside Corridor: not executed until price returns to acceptable range
2.2 Order Execution Mechanism
- Trader places a limit order within the current price corridor in the decentralized order book
- When the index price changes, the corridor shifts accordingly
- Orders that fall outside the new corridor are temporarily frozen
- Execution occurs only when the price returns to the order's zone
3. System Architecture
3.1 Key Components
- Oracle Module - obtaining and verifying data from trusted oracle
- Range Manager - calculating and maintaining current price corridor
- Order Book - processing limit orders
- Fee Distributor - distributing fees and cashback via swap.coffee/claim
3.2 Data Flow
Oracle → Index Price → Corridor (±3%) → Order Validation → Execution
4. Economic Model
4.1 Protocol Fees
- Total Fee: 10% of transaction amount
- Compensation: full cashback in Giftindex tokens
- Return Mechanism: automatic distribution after order execution
4.2 User Benefits
- Actual Trading Cost: 0%
- Ecosystem Participation: receiving index tokens
- Liquidity Incentives: token holders receive benefits
5. Security and Limitations
5.1 Protective Mechanisms
- Price Validation: all operations checked against current corridor
- Order Lifetime: unlimited
- Maximum Size: no restrictions
5.2 Oracle Security
- Multi-signature updates
- Data source verification
- Manipulation protection
